The club’s Sports Convener David Robertson reports: –
“Ron’s latest Rotary Walk was on 5th August to James of the Glens birthplace. It commenced at 10.30 am from the Glen Duror Forestry Car Park and was led by Rotarian John Harvey.  Our walkers arrived at the Bothy just before 11.30 am and enjoyed an early picnic lunch while meeting up with a couple of walkers who were doing a recci for the Ramblers. We included them in our photo.
John had done his research well and gave an interesting account of the Bothy history. Our return journey was by a different route, arriving back at the Forestry Car Park just before 2 pm leaving plenty of time to adjourn to the Holly Tree Hotel for coffee and cakes.  Another very successful and enjoyable walk with great company and pretty good Lochaber weather.

Thank you, Rotarians Ron and John.”
